Kia Ora and welcome! We're a fantastic group of Year 6 students based in Te Aroha, in New Zealand! In Room 4 we know we work as a team, we know it's good to be different, we know that making mistakes helps us learn, we always give things our all and NEVER give up, we care and share and have fun! Enlargement in Minecraft
This week we have learned about enlargement in Math. When we enlarge an object it gets bigger or smaller by a scale. E.g. When we enlarge something by a scale of 2, we are making it two times bigger.
We created our own designs in our math books and then recreated these in Minecraft using blocks. We then enlarged our shape by a scale of 2 and built this next to our original shape.
Check out some photos of our building in action and some completed enlargements!
